1. Check your engine
Check for possible internal coolant leaks and resolve unrelated cooling-system faults first.
HYPERSEAL CLEAR | INSTRUCTIONS
Follow our step-by-step guide to prepare your cooling system, choose the correct bottle quantity and apply HyperSeal Clear to suitable internal leaks.
500 ML PER BOTTLE
Engine capacity determines the number of 500 ml bottles. Always follow the approved product instructions.
SHOP HYPERSEAL CLEAR →BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Start with a completely cold engine. Check for faults such as a failed thermostat, faulty water pump or blocked radiator, which must be dealt with separately.
A full flush is not always required. A clean system is recommended, especially if previous sealers, sludge or contamination are present. Follow your approved product procedure.
Not every antifreeze type is suitable for treatment. If your coolant is incompatible, follow approved instructions for draining, flushing if necessary, and filling with clean water for treatment. Restore the correct specified coolant afterwards.
THE APPLICATION PROCESS
Check for possible internal coolant leaks and resolve unrelated cooling-system faults first.
With the engine completely cold, check coolant condition and compatibility. Drain incompatible coolant and flush if required by the approved procedure.
Use one 500 ml bottle up to 2.0L, two for over 2.0L to 3.0L, or three for over 3.0L.
With a cold engine, add the measured treatment through the appropriate filling point, ensuring it will circulate through the cooling system. Refit the cap securely.
Follow the approved HyperSeal running and heater-setting procedure, watching engine temperature throughout. Stop immediately if overheating occurs.
Allow the engine to cool completely. Check coolant levels and symptoms, and restore the vehicle-specified coolant following the approved procedure.
Never open a hot pressurised cooling system or continue running an overheating engine. Keep coolant and treatment away from children and pets. Follow the vehicle manual and product safety information.
The detailed running duration and special procedures for severe back-pressure or contaminated oil must be confirmed against HyperSeal's own approved instructions. Do not substitute Steel Seal's instructions without authorisation.
